Okay, now I can clearly see why I’m going to keep learning Julia. Python took 18 seconds to do 100k iterations. Julia (almost identical code, definitely same approach) took 706 milliseconds. Dayuummm.

In case you’re curious, 1000 iterations takes about 7 hours on a Commodore 64. So about four weeks to do 100k. Julia on a modern computer is slightly faster than Commodore šŸ˜‰ 700 milliseconds… or a month. I might argue the month method is more fun #commodore
