Old computer number crunching

Not sure why, but I love tasking older processors with number crunching. Sure, my laptop can do this in 1 second, but asking a 1 MHz 6502 is way more satisfying.

This disparity has piqued my curiosity, though. This is a tight loop, where a number is repeatedly incremented by 1. The speed difference doesn’t seem like a lot, but added up, it is. Need to investigate.
