Sometimes you need to sleep on it

I’m working on my VIC-20 VIC chip FPGA project. Rendering characters from the VIC-20 ROM, and I’ve got something shifted, but I can’t see what I’m doing. Might need to sleep on it. First, we have the VIC-20, with one row of characters, and second, my rendered characters (ignore the color and resolution differences).
