The barber shop

I live in a small town in the North Carolina mountains and go to a real “barber shop.” It’s a lot of good ol boys with deep southern accents (my accent is Midwest, so I stick out).

Most days, there’s a lot of talk about the old days when Mr so and so redirected a creek to float logs down it. Or when Old Highway so and so ran through a town before the interstate. Etc.

Today, no joke, there was a DEEP conversation about both cyber security and AGI.

Never underestimate people. Especially using metrics like their background or the way they talk.
