Veteran's Day

My time in the Navy was unremarkable. I managed to serve exactly bookended between two wars (complete coincidence). On the other hand, my grandfather spent much of WWII in New Guinea. A couple of years ago, I found a company still making 38th bomb group patches and added one to my flight jacket. My hat is off to all who have served to defend this great nation of ours.
