Finally

I beat level 4 of Sargon II on the VIC-20 (as black). My 9-year-old self would have been thrilled.

It’s interesting just how long the computer takes to move mid-game. It sometimes sits and thinks for many minutes. I tried it on level six; moves sometimes take more than an hour. Level four was about the limit of my patience.
