More reflecting on the 60th anniversary of BASIC

This was my first program, typed in ‘81 or ‘82 on my uncle’s VIC-20. I was an early reader, but in the first grade, much of this was advanced for me. The adults around me helped me understand the challenging parts, and I managed to get through the first quarter of this book that afternoon. It hooked me deeply.
